On September 24, 2024, I had the absolute pleasure of capturing Haylee and Corey Montanez’s big day, and let me tell you—it was magical. Fox’s Lodge at Oak Pointe set the stage for their love story to unfold, but the best part? This wasn’t just any venue. It was the very spot where they once stood hand-in-hand, watching the northern lights dance above them. Talk about full circle!
And if that wasn’t romantic enough, they share their anniversary with Corey’s grandparents, who were celebrating an incredible 59 years together! Love clearly runs deep in this family, and it’s no surprise that Haylee and Corey—who got engaged just four months ago—are already creating such a meaningful legacy of their own. Their wedding was intimate, with only family present, making the day feel even more personal and special.
From First Dates to Fishing Dates (and Tacos!)
Haylee and Corey’s love story started with a modern twist—they met online and kicked things off with a first date at a restaurant. Fast forward three years, and here they are, tying the knot in front of their closest loved ones—and their adorable dog, Yogi (more on him in a second!).

In a touching tribute to her family, Haylee wore her grandmother’s jewelry, kept in a special box with a note that read, "Do not touch until your wedding day." But it wasn’t just the jewelry that turned heads—Haylee’s sparkly boots were nothing short of amazing. They added a fun, glamorous twist to her wedding day look, and let’s be real, they were perfect for a bride who wasn’t afraid to shine!
Meanwhile, Corey and the guys of the families put a fun spin on the traditional groom photos by grabbing their fishing poles and heading to the river for some “reel” fun. The laughs were contagious, and I have to say, it made for some unforgettable shots.
