Make a playlist of your favorite jams!
On this playlist, you want to include music that makes you feel sexy. Something that can help you be comfortable and ease the nerves just a bit. Tips for creating this list:
Choose music you would typically play in the bedroom during sexy time.
Choose music that makes you want to dance, Meridth and Cristina style.
Choose music that makes you calm, but not sleepy time tunes.
Make this playlist for yourself, don't worry about us photographers, we will jam to ANYTHING if it means you are having the time of your life!
Waxing/ Shaving
If you are planning on waxing or shaving for your session there are a few things to keep in mind.
If you do not wax/shave and want to come au naturel, please do! This should not bother your photographer, if it does, book someone new! The studio is a no judgment zone, and you should feel comfortable!
If you are getting waxed/shaved:
Plan to get waxed/shaved at least 3-5 days before your session. This helps with irritation and redness especially in the bikini area. This is especially important if you haven't been waxed before or it's been a while.
Drink plenty of water, this helps with irritation and skin looking good.

Hair and Makeup
Don't stress! Makeup/hair is included in your boudoir session. I work with amazing stylist and artist that will having you looking and feel amazing! Service list with link located at the end.
Come with a moisturized face and body ready to be pampered!
Make sure to drink plenty of water days leading to shoot for best skin.
Spray tans: Please avoid spray tans or tanning lotions as they look orange on camera. No matter how little we can see it, they always look orange. Best to just avoid it.
Outfits
When dressing for your shoot, wear something comfortable and baggy. Pajamas are even fine. Even avoid wearing a bra. Avoiding tight clothing, panties or bras will prevent impressions on the skin.
When choosing outfits to wear for your shoot there are a couple things to keep in mind, but the most important is wear something you feel comfortable in. It is okay to take one or two outfits that are out of your comfort zone, but I recommend choosing something you find yourself flattering in. The first thought is lingerie, but you can wear other things also. Outfits that are also good are bra and panties, t-shirt and undies, spouses button up shirt and panties, or even bathing suits.
Remove wrinkles and tags from outfits.

STRETCH!
I know it sounds crazy but you will thank me later. Posing with arched back, popping hips, and booty, strains all the muscles surrounding and if you are not used to doing it for extended period of times, it can cause muscle pain after the shoot. Practice it right now, where your sitting arch your back, push your shoulders back, extend your neck and point your toes...fell all those muscles tightening? Yea, stretch all those. Stretch for a couple days before and after your shoot to minimize aches. And drink plenty of water!
Practice facial expressions
Look in the mirror and make your best sexy face, now a sassy face, and now smile.. how did you feel about that? If its anything like my first boudoir shoot, you probably have zero idea what you're doing, that is okay! Turn on your sexy music and think of your spouse or famous crush, imagine them in the mirror, now make a sexy face like you would to them. This usually means squinting the eyes just a little, but not like a squint squint ,like an ah you're hot squint. Now part your lips just a little. you can achieve this by taking a deep breath and letting the air come out of your mouth. Avoid the duck face but part your lips just a little and blow the air out hard. Now do all the things together...welcome sexy face. It will take practice to master but you will master it!
